Today we honor

McCleary Philbin

McCleary is the Women's History Month honoree for March 20. She is a graduate student in the School of Mathematics at the University of Minnesota. She specializes in commutative algebra.

On March 18th, we honored

Patricia Klein

Patricia Klein is the Women's History Month honoree for March 18. She is a Dunham Jackson Assistant Professor in the School of Mathematics at the University of Minnesota. Her research interests include commutative algebra and combinatorial algebraic geometry. 

On March 16th, we honored

Li Wang

Li Wang is the Women's History Month honoree for March 16. She received her PhD at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2012 and is currently an assistant professor at the University of Minnesota. She specializes in numerical analysis and scientific computing.

On March 13, we honored

Chuan Xue

Chuan Xue is the Women's History Month honoree for March 13. She received her PhD at the University of Minnesota in 2008 and is currently an associate professor in the Department of Mathematics at The Ohio State University. She specializes in Mathematical Biology.

On March 11, we honored

Carme Calderer

Carme Calderer is the Women's History Month honoree for March 11. She is a professor in the School of Mathematics at the University of Minnesota. Her research interests include applied mathematics, analysis, continuum mechanics, soft condensed matter physics, and material science. 

On March 9th, we honored

Ru-Yu Lai

Ru-Yu is an assistant professor in the School of Mathematics at the University of Minnesota. Her research interests include inverse problems and partial differential equations.

On March 6th, we honored

Anila Yadavalli

Anila Yadavalli was the Women's History Month honoree for March 6, 2020. She is a MathCEP Postdoc at the University of Minnesota.

On March 4th, we honored

Marta Lewicka

Marta Lewicka was the Women's History Month honoree for March 4, 2020. She was an associate professor in the School of Mathematics at the University of Minnesota before moving to the University of Pittsburgh, where she is now a professor.
